As well as our exceptional unsalted and salted butter and buttermilk, we also produce other items from the milk, butter and buttermilk:
- Rum Butter (In the County of Cumberland this is traditionally spread on buttermilk scones at christenings. The saying goes… “Butter symbolises the richness of life, sugar the sweetness of life and rum, the spirit of life.”)

- Brandy Butter
- Lemon Curd
- Rich Fruit Cake
- Shortbread
- Ginger Bread
- Tea Bread
- Parkin
- Scones (over 9 varieties are made – that’s more than the biggest supermarket in the universe!)
Rum & Brandy Butter
- Melt the butter and add sugar in a large pan along with the Rum or Brandy
- Pour into 150g or 300g pots
- Leave to set. Lid and label.
